Fish will be shipped to arrive the next day. In Virginia and surrounding areas where packages arrive within 24 hours, normal shipping methods are used. Out of state shipments must go via UPS Next Day delivery. Actual UPS charges will be added to your invoice. Call for an estimate of charges if you want to know in advance.

Add $5.00 per Box for packaging. For Fish, we pack about 60 inches per box when the weather is warm or more in cool weather. For snails, we pack up to 500 per box. In cold weather we can get a few more and in hot weather a few less per box. Fish & snails are shipped Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY, by UPS or Air Freight. All fish must be shipped to arrive at their destination within two days and in warmer weather must be shipped to arrive within 24 hours. All fish shipments requiring air freight or expedited shipping will be charged actual freight.
Warranty
Fish and snails are gauranteed live arrival if shipped or 48 hours if picked up. Extra fish and snails are normally shipped to offset any minor losses in transit. Snails may not move when placed in the pond for up to several days.

Black Japanese Snails are the best scavenger for your water garden because they scavenge the bottom for decomposing organic debris. The recommended stocking rate of this essential component for your pond is one snail per every 1-2 square feet of pond surface, or 10-20 gallons. This still allows room for growth and reproduction. We suggest that you stock your pond with snails at the same time you install the plants. This allows the pond to begin establishing its own natural bacteria. Once organic debris begins to be formed, the snails can start to feed on it.
