ADDITIONAL CHARGES
FISH AND SCAVENGERS are charged an additional $5.00 per bag for special packaging and handling. ALL PREFORMED PONDS incur additional packing and handling charges. A specific freight quote can be gotten from the shipping company. Anything that goes out on a truck will be charged an additional amount because it costs more than our usual shipping method. For fiberglass ponds, you should anticipate at least 100.00-$150.00 and the costs often range from $200.00 to $300.00 east of Mississippi River. Customers within our delivery area can have ponds delivered from our store for a fee. PACKING FEES for Fiberglass Ponds apply to all ponds shipped from the factory in Virginia. They are as follows: We have added $15.00 for small ponds; $25.00 to pack medium sized ponds; $55.00 to pack large ponds.Lake Koi is $125.00 for the packing and handling. The added charges have been added to the amount shown. Ponds picked up at Springdale will be reduced by the amount shown for packing.
PATIO PONDS, kettles and whiskey barrel liners are charged and additional $20.00 to $25.00 (over the initial standard shipping and handling of $11.95) for shipping.
Items with long handles (like dip nets) are charged an additional $25.00 (over the initial standard shipping and handling of $11.95) for shipping since they must be packaged separately in long boxes and require special handling by UPS or the USPS.
POND LINER ON ROLLS are charged actual freight.
MOST ORDERS ARE SHIPPED BY UPS
We make every attempt to get orders out within 48 hours of receipt. Plants, fish, and scavengers are shipped on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday ONLY to ensure their arrival before the weekend. Be sure to supply us with a complete street address including house number, City, State and correct Zip Code. Make sure your email address in our system is correct and current. Give us your phone number during the day in case there is a question.
ABOUT OUR PLANTS
We take pride in producing uniform, generous sized plants of blooming age. We exercise great care to ship a weed and pest free plant. BARE ROOT plants are carefully selected from our production area the same day as they are shipped. We ship mature rhizomes in bud or flower (if possible) during the growing season. Several leaves are left on the plants. Bare root plants are available from April until October. WE CANNOT SHIP POTTED PLANTS.
