ADDITIONAL CHARGES
FISH AND SCAVENGERS are charged an additional $5.00 per bag for special packaging and handling. ALL PREFORMED PONDS incur additional packing and handling charges. Please ask about estimated freight cost prior to ordering. Anything that goes out on a truck will be charged an additional amount because it costs more than our usual shipping method. For fiberglass ponds and plastic ponds, you should anticipate at least $100.00 and the costs often range from $150.00 to $250.00 east of Mississippi River. Customers within our immediate area can have ponds delivered from our store for a fee. PACKING FEES for Fiberglass Ponds apply since they go from the factory in Massachusetts. The are as follows: Add $15.00 to pack Pond 'F with spillway'; $25.00 to pack medium sized ponds; $55.00 to pack 'P', 'V', 'Z' and 'ZW' ponds.
PATIO PONDS, kettles and whiskey barrel liners are charged and additional $20.00 for packing and shipping because of the size and shape.
Items with long handles (Nets, Trimmer/Retriever and plant feeder) are charged an additional $20.00 for shipping since they must be packaged separately in long boxes and require special handling by UPS or the USPS.
POND LINER ON ROLLS is charged a minimum of $45.00 freight. Actual freight charges apply, but you can estimate it at 13 cents per square foot.
MOST ORDERS ARE SHIPPED BY UPS
We make every attempt to get orders out within 48 hours of receipt. Plants, fish, and scavengers are shipped on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday ONLY to ensure their arrival before the weekend. Be sure to supply us with a complete street address including house number, City, State and correct Zip Code. Give us you phone number during the day in case there is a question.
ABOUT OUR PLANTS
We take pride in producing uniform, generous sized plants of blooming age. We exercise great care to ship a weed and pest free plant. BARE ROOT plants are carefully selected from our production area the same day as they are shipped. We ship mature rhizomes in bud or flower (if possible) during the growing season. Several leaves are left on the plants. Bare root plants are available from April until November. WE CANNOT SHIP POTTED PLANTS.
